Company

A software company built around practical problems.

PickYou Technologies Inc. designs, builds, and operates software. The company exists to build a portfolio of durable digital products and platform systems for real-world operations over time.

Mission

To build software that measurably improves how organizations and communities operate.

Many organizations run on a combination of phone calls, spreadsheets, and institutional memory. That works until volume, turnover, or reporting requirements make it fragile. Our work begins there: understanding an operation well enough to replace fragile coordination with software people can rely on.

We are a software company rather than a single-product company. Products are the output; the durable asset is the capability to design, build, deploy, and support systems that stay useful for years.

Our approach

How we work.

A consistent method, applied whether the project is a platform, an automation initiative, or a modernization effort.

Understand the operation first

We spend time with the people doing the work — front-line staff, coordinators, administrators — before proposing software.

Design for the constraints that exist

Connectivity, device availability, staffing levels, and training time are inputs to the design, not exceptions to it.

Deliver in usable increments

We put working software in front of real users early, then extend it based on what actually happens in production.

Operate what we build

We stay responsible for monitoring, maintenance, and support so products remain dependable after launch.

Principles

What we hold to.

Start with the operation

We study how work actually happens before writing software, then design for the constraints we find rather than the ones we would prefer.

Build durable infrastructure

Products are built to be maintained for years: documented, observable, and structured so they can be extended rather than rewritten.

Earn trust through restraint

We collect only the data a product needs, describe capabilities plainly, and avoid claims we cannot support.

Build capacity locally

We develop technical capability where we operate, so the systems communities rely on are understood and supported close to home.

Product philosophy

We plan on a long horizon. A product earns continued investment when it keeps solving a real problem, not because it was announced. That means we prefer fewer, better-supported products over a wide catalogue.

New products begin as observed problems in operations we already understand. They are announced when they are ready for customers, and they are built on shared foundations — design system, infrastructure, security practices — so each product benefits from the last.

We also build technical capability where we operate. Systems that communities depend on should be understood and supported close to home.
